- Write, negotiate, share, sign and track in one document, with no export between steps
- ESIGN and UETA signatures with a certificate of completion and SHA-256 audit digests
- Ninety REST endpoints, OpenAPI 3.1, webhooks, a CLI and an MCP server on scoped keys
Write the agreement, send a tracked link for review, collect legally binding signatures and see exactly who read what, without exporting to PDF or moving to another tool. XDocs puts the whole life of a document in one place, with an assistant that works the document rather than guessing about it.
The Problem: Five Tools, No Shared Document
An agreement passes through a document editor, an e-signature service, a link-tracking tool, a data room and, lately, an AI tool, and none of them share the document.
- Every hand-off is an export, and the version being signed is rarely the version being edited
- Signature services see a PDF, not the sentence a signature belongs to
- Link trackers report a tab left open as reading
- Negotiation happens in Word and email, where nothing is recorded
- An assistant that only sees one tab cannot say what is waiting on whom
The Solution: One Object, Start to Finish
XDocs combines writing, e-signatures, secure sharing, data rooms, analytics and an assistant in a single workspace. The document is the object all the way through: edits, suggestions, comments and versions on one side, tracked links and signatures on the other, with a frozen snapshot the moment it is sent so later edits cannot change what somebody agreed to.
Key Features
Write and negotiate
A real editor built on Tiptap and ProseMirror, with live collaboration, a contents block that follows the headings, find and replace, import from Word and Markdown and export to PDF, Word and Markdown. Suggesting mode marks insertions and strikes deletions by author, and version history can be compared word by word before a restore.
Share with the gates it needs
Tracked links with a password, email verification, allow and block lists, expiry, view caps, NDA before viewing, watermarking composed per link and download control. Data rooms put many documents behind one set of gates, and reading is measured section by section, counting only while a section is on screen and the tab is active.
Sign inside the sentence
Signature, initials, date, text and checkbox fields dropped into the document body or onto the pages of an uploaded PDF, with sequential or parallel routing, reminders, expiry and decline with a reason. Completion produces a PDF with every signature, a certificate of completion, the audit trail and SHA-256 integrity digests. ESIGN and UETA requirements are implemented end to end.
An assistant with approvals
The assistant reads the real workspace through tools: it searches and reads documents, checks who has signed, pulls section-level analytics, drafts from a template, reconciles a returned Word redline into tracked suggestions and triages every change. Anything that leaves the workspace waits for an explicit, server-signed approval, with a dry run, one-click undo, per-conversation ceilings and an activity log that records the calls it declined.
Reach and routine
Forward a contract by email and it lands as a draft. Deadlines become a calendar feed, approvals reach Slack, signature status writes back to HubSpot or Salesforce, and a scheduled sweep speaks first about expiries, bounced mail and auto-renewals. Ninety REST endpoints, OpenAPI 3.1, webhooks, a CLI and an MCP server cover the whole product on scoped API keys.
Teams and plans
Personal and team workspaces with four ranked roles, members narrowed to particular rooms, invitations that admit one address only, SAML single sign-on and SCIM. Plans are priced per workspace rather than per seat, and the people you send to never need an account.
Strategic Vision
XDocs is the documents layer of the AW3 ecosystem. Authors sign in with 1Profile, AW3's identity product, and the assistant shares its approval-first architecture with TRMNLY, Kavanah and AngelSend.
Its foundation enables:
- Agreements that stay in one place from first draft to executed copy
- Reading and signing data that answers questions instead of filling dashboards
- An assistant that can act on a workspace because every action is gated
- Self-hosted installs for teams that cannot send documents to a vendor
