Anthra

Designed and built Anthra from scratch — an agentic AI book creator whose agent plans, writes, illustrates and narrates a book with the author, then ships it as an illustrated ebook, a narrated audiobook and a print-ready paperback. In public beta at anthra.com.

Anthra
  • Built end-to-end — writing agent, planning workbench, illustration, narration and publishing
  • One manuscript ships as an ebook, an audiobook and a Lulu print-on-demand paperback
  • In public beta at anthra.com — credit packs, no subscriptions

Describe the book you want to exist. Anthra's AI agent plans it, writes it, illustrates it and narrates it with you, and hands back an illustrated ebook, a narrated audiobook and a print-ready paperback.

Everyone has a book in them. Most never get finished. The writing is only the first job: then come the cover, the illustrations, the audiobook, the formatting for print and somewhere to sell it, each one a different tool and a different skill.

Anthra was built to make the whole book one project. Bring the idea, approve each step, and keep the story yours.

The Problem: A Book Is Five Jobs

Finishing a book means doing a small publishing house's work alone.

  • Drafting chapters while keeping characters, world and plot straight across hundreds of pages
  • Commissioning a cover and chapter art that share one consistent style
  • Recording or hiring narration for an audiobook
  • Formatting EPUB, PDF and print files, down to spine width and bleed
  • Finding readers, and a way to be paid by them

General-purpose AI chat helps with a paragraph at a time, then forgets who your characters are by chapter four.

The Solution: An Agentic Book Creator

Anthra is a co-author with memory. It holds your characters, your world and your beat sheet in mind as it outlines, drafts and rewrites, and it asks for your approval at every step. The same manuscript then becomes artwork, an audiobook and a printed book without leaving the app.

Key Features

AI writing in your voice

Outline, draft and rewrite chapters with a co-author that keeps a character and world bible, plus prose lint, sensitivity reads and continuity tools.

A planning workbench

A premise interview, beat sheets, character and world bibles, a conflict matrix, mood boards and era research, all wired into the draft.

Covers and illustrations

Front cover, back cover and spine, chapter art and character portraits, all in a single locked style.

Audiobook narration

More than 100 ElevenLabs voices with per-character casting and voice cloning, plus ambience and intro stings, rendered from the same manuscript.

Export and print-on-demand

EPUB, PDF and DOCX exports, or a paperback through Lulu print-on-demand, with spine width and bleed handled for you.

Discover and sell

Publish to Anthra's public /discover library, gate downloads behind an email or a payment, embed the reader on your own site and track the reader funnel.

Built for developers too

A public REST API and an MCP server, so other tools and AI agents can create and manage books on an author's behalf.

Pay for What You Create

There are no subscriptions. Authors buy a credit pack and spend it on outlines, chapters, narration and illustrations, and the credits never expire. Print orders go through Lulu at cost.

Strategic Vision

Anthra is the publishing layer of the AW3 ecosystem. It signs users in with 1Profile, AW3's identity product, and is built on the same agent architecture as Kavanah, AngelSend and Devya.

Its foundation enables:

  • One manuscript that ships as an ebook, an audiobook and a paperback
  • Illustrated and narrated books from authors who are not illustrators or voice actors
  • A storefront and embeddable reader that put authors directly in front of readers
  • Books created through the API and MCP by other AI tools
