SVEF - Silicon Valley Economic Forum

SVEF: Branding and Marketing the Silicon Valley Economic Forum

Client: Silicon Valley Economic Forum (SVEF), an annual conference on innovation, investment, and economic growth Our role: Brand, web, and marketing partner Scope: Branding, event website, speaker sourcing, pitch and sponsor decks, digital marketing

About SVEF

SVEF brings founders, investors, policymakers, and economists together in Silicon Valley for two days of keynotes, panels, and fireside conversations. It grew out of 1000X Silicon Valley, a 2024 event from the same organizers.

The Challenge

A conference lives or dies on three things: who is speaking, who is sponsoring, and whether the right people show up. SVEF needed a brand with the weight its name implies, a website that sells tickets and sponsorships, a full speaker roster, and a marketing program to fill the room.

What We Did

  • Brand identity: the SVEF logo, icon, and visual system, refreshed for the 2026 edition with banners and social assets
  • Event website: agenda, speakers, sponsorship, tickets, articles, and contact, with an admin area and newsletter signup
  • Speaker sourcing: recruited speakers for the program, which grew to more than 50 names across two days
  • Speaker promotion: an in-site tool that generates spotlight cards, used to produce a card for each speaker for social media
  • Decks: the SVEF overview deck through several versions, the 2026 pitch deck, a VIP dinner proposal, and the earlier 1000X Silicon Valley deck
  • Business plan: an event business plan covering revenue, marketing, operations, and risks
  • Digital marketing: event listings and banners, LinkedIn and social campaigns, email, and SEO across the site
  • Guest operations: registration lists for the forum and its award ceremony

Outcome

The marketing program brought in hundreds of visitors, and SVEF went to market with a complete brand, a live site at svef.host, and a published two-day agenda.
