Baird Augustine: Building a Neo-Investment Bank from Day One

The Challenge
Ryan Baird and Henry Augustine set out to build a cross-border neo-investment bank covering alternative asset management, venture capital, and institutional advisory. They had the network, the track record, and the mandate. They did not yet have the brand, technology, and digital infrastructure to present a credible institution to global investors and to deploy capital into private markets.
What We Did
AW3 Technology has worked with the founders since day one, helping structure the firm and its holding company and owning the brand and technology surface end to end.
- Brand identity: the Baird Augustine name, mark, and visual language
- Website: services, portfolio with data room requests, press, roadshows, and newsletter
- Investor and staff portals: a client portal and an admin area for deals, leads, subscribers, and analytics, secured with two-factor authentication
- Sales and investor materials: sales decks, pitch decks, and one-pagers, including a password-gated online sales deck
- Lead generation: email campaigns to prospective investors and lead capture across the site
- Events: co-hosting institutional roadshows
- Company building: corporate strategy, startup consulting, and help recruiting the team
- Direct Credit: architected and built the firm's lending platform
Outcome
Baird Augustine is live and operating at bairdaugustine.com, and was recognized by the State of California in an award presented by State Treasurer Fiona Ma. Its lending platform, Direct Credit, is deployed at directcredit.net.
